Seriously, why the fuck are they so similair to eachother?
Does that mean the macacos are belarusians?
>speaks spanish
nevermind, the cunt deleted the clip
They sound similar to you because Portugese has a pronounced sh sound that's somewhat similar to the one in Russian. Also the way they elongate some of their vowels following the sh sound may seem similar to people who don't know either language
found it youtube.com
No belarussian means white russian and if there is one thing brazil isnt it would be white

kek we really do
Portugese isn't understandable for Russian speaker tho.
Also, it's not as near similar as other Slavic languages.
>Portugese isn't understandable for Russian speaker tho.
It's just the phonology that's a bit similar, we can't understand russian either
kek
KKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
Does russian really sounds similar for native portu speakers?
European portuguese even more so.
It just sounds similar because of how nasal both are
It's still gibberish if you don't know russian, and vice versa I guess.
The phonemes are extremely similar and in Portugal they tend to skip vowels which makes words sound like they have those Slavic consonant clusters.
Vowel reduction and similar consonant inventory though russian has a velar/palatalized dichotomy whereas only some consonants are velar or palatalized in portuguese
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
portugalians are honorary slavs (and africans)
so we're balkan?
It is the suebi heritage
You know most slavic languages sound closer to Italian/Spanish in how clearly they are spoken. I think it is entirely because of the similar consonant inventory and vowel reduction. But Portuguese does not sound anything like Serbian
