Why is the average white American so stupid compared to the enlightened European? Why are some things so simple to us, yet so difficult to them?

Why do Americans live their life in mod 12?

The 24 hours thing is one I genuinly don't get. I was never taught it, its just obvious. Why can't americans minus 12 from a number?

Is that why you haven’t invented anything since 1945 and a shit ton of Americans have. Americans (white and black) are crude but they drive civilization and Europeans are only living in it anymore.

Do American computers use the 12 hour clock too? I didn't even know you could get a 12 hour clock feature on your phone.

Yes, it's the default on all phones here. I have never seen a 12 hour clock on a phone or computer before.

i think most of europe uses both together, 12hr in speech or something
we basically only use 12hr

12 hours is the default here for phones and computers

Australians are thoroughly americanized

true but not in this. just more conservative, coincidentally like americans.

we use both in speech and informal writing, but mainly 24h in formal writing

Lead poisoning

12 hour is for spoken and analog clocks, 24 for written. But nobody uses am/pm.

Yeah we used both randomly even sometimes in the same sentence

I only ever used the 24hr clock in Boy Scouts and French class.
