England is a knock off France

England is an irrelevant shit cunt

Germany*

They were under Anglos during the "french" revolution.
Pretty progressive and good innit.

If england had won they would have become french.

Europe*

and that's a good thing

Yes. It should be balkanized between italy, england and germany

I love France and it makes me cry that they hate us.

this.
>English population 1400
2 080 000
>French population 1400
16 600 000

France had 8 times to population of England. England would have been the junior partner in any long term anglo-french union the same way Scotland became the junior partner after the union of the crowns

Hundred Years War was a French civil war between two major French dynasties. Just because one of them happened to have also rule over England as a colony at the time doesn't make it a war between England and France anymore than Spain ruling over Morocco during the Spanish civil war doesn't make it a war between Spain and Morocco.

Personally big fan of Edward III and Henry of Lancaster

it's pretty impressive what they accomplished in the 100 years war considering the population difference even though they eventually got btfo
especially since they had to cross the channel for every campaign

We don't hate you, that's a lie you feed yourself to avoid acknowledging the fact that you don't really matter to us.

I hate France but it makes me cry when they hate us for no reason.

armies were filled with mercenaries from everywhere and knights/levies from the local rulers depending on their alliegeance
like, in the battle of Poitiers, a significant part of the "English" army was in fact Gascon soldiers

Yes

I wish we Henry V had united the two countries

Hating fr*nce should be the default opinion of everyone

It certainly is the default opinion here in my country

Please go home and leave France to the French then. They will be thankful.
