Ukraine will definitely switch to Latin, I hope Bulgaria will follow too. Let Cyrillic remain a distinctive script for non-European totalitarian backwater states, I don't see why European nations should use a Russian alphabet anyway.

Have you looked once at how Kazakh Cyrillic looks like? It's a complete mess, just like Polish or Czech Latin. Kazakh is a Turkic language, not Slavic so Latin might fit better. Cyrillic was specifically designed for Slavic phonetics. Why would Ukrainians want to complicate their script?
