I suffered racism in Spain once.
I was there for a exchange student program, i was 17 at this time, in 2016. I was recluse but never caused any problems
Some day they were commenting about how the "tiraflechas" (throws arrows) was so weird, i went after them and asked whos the tiraflechas.
He said "you", very directly
Did you ever suffer racism?
racism is bad :(
t. Tiraflechas
>t. Zhang
it's always the browns who are the most racist
>Tiraflechas
What the fuck is the context? Why do latinos have such retarded terms in their languages?
Indigenous didn't have powder, it's banter
Arrow shooter, basically injun or "savage"
Been there twice in my life (first time in Madrid, second time in Oviedo and Girona) never had any issues. Some people gave me funny looks when hearing my accent others made me weird questions about my country, like if I ever had jam, if we use bathtubs or we hunt animals.
>tiraflechas
>(throws arrows)
ESL moment. The proper English term would be "Arrow shooter"
Gringo
Americans are pretty racist, a lot of people will treat you badly simply for your appearance. Even if you are respectful, keep to yourself, follow the rules, etc you will be picked on for your race, especially if you're not white
Who cares
It's the same as calling a black person a spearchucker
A black person said I had no swag in middle school and it hurt my feelings
>t. macaco
>t. zhang
>t. gonzales
>t. mutt
>t. hans
shut up amerimutt.
Have sex
>tiraflechas
I’m sorry but this is such a clever insult. This is like a French tier insult. I’m very surprised Spaniards are clever enough to come up with that.
>racism is bad :(
I only got called once a racist insult and it was by a gypsy lady on a balcony. Never been confronted by any spaniard about my indigenous ancestry.
Spaniards are very friendly, only heard racism stories from andalusian and canarias regions.
Peruvian or Venezuelan?
Racism doesn't real. But I have been called a kraut and a nazi before. Also I think in France people called me an idiot for being American but my French is pretty bad so I'm not sure.
When my friends found out that I have a Tatar admixture (I’m not sure I’m a Tatar or one of my ancestors had a Tatar wife), they began to jokingly call me a nomad, a Mongol, etc. When I got tired of this, I let them know that it was unpleasant for me and they stopped doing it.
Peruvian. Never got bullied or insulted by a spaniard, it was usually the opposite.
I'm white in America, near the poor ghettos but not completely. Since I live out near city lines I suppose. Black coworkers assume I never have fear for cops or something. Which is weird. Blacks were always the meanest in both words and actions towards me growing up. Not like white people I knew never were. Blacks were the worst with it. Really, I didn't assume racial reasons till I got older, around the age of 16 to now as an adult, when I started working around blacks. Sucks though, since some of the black women are either the best to work with since they're like my work moms, or they're insufferable. All the hispanics I've worked with though, have been good to me in the kitchens. Like, genuinely, they have been good to me since I've worked in kitchens. Only issue with hispanics I've had is that of a big hispanic girl copping a feel on my ass. She was fat and not pretty. I like big strong girls, not big girls man. Met a black guy who said black people can't be racist, since it's power + prejudice. Blew my mind when I heard that shit. To me, it takes all autonomy from black people but whatever.
