The law of confucius is more practical. "Do not do to others what you wouldn;t want to be done for yourself" is more universal than "Do to others what you want to be done to yourself"

The five aggregates or heaps of clinging are:

sensations (or feelings, received from form) (vedana)
perceptions (samjna)
mental activity or formations (sankhara)
consciousness (vijnana)
It is clinging to the 5 aggregates and viewing them as self that leads to suffering and pain.
