Northern women in general love the attractive passionate/romantic Spanish/Latin guy stereotype, because everyone else here is so cold, so if you can live up to that, that would score you some bonus points. But otherwise this question of "what does insert nation think about insert nation" really doesn't matter. If you can and want to talk to people you will. There are Spanish students here as well so you can link up with them too if you need to.
Ultimately I would recommend travelling here for the summer it's very beautiful this time of year, anytime else it fucking sucks.
