Are there commie blocks in your country? Do you live in one? What's life like in these places?
Are there commie blocks in your country? Do you live in one? What's life like in these places?
yes, they are everywhere in japan
We have francoblocks which are basically the same but slightly less depressing.
We have neetblocks which are basically same but more comfy
Too much space between each block.
Not SOVLESS enough.
Yes
Yes
It's shit, you have barely any privacy and can't play music too loud
Maximum density without sunlight at the ground floor and no shops nearby so you have to drive is Capitalism Blocks, though.
You cannot behave like a drunk Russian in any kind of neighborhood without people complaining.
I have a cousin who lived in a 1960s 団地 it's not that terrible. They're comfy if not too far from central areas.
It's just like house, but smol. No parking, less living and storage space, On the other side property tax, hot water, electricity, propane etc is way cheaper, due to state dotation.
yes
i guess? not really a commie block tho
hell is other people
Gonna need some examples for educational purpose.
Yes
Designed by communists for capitalism
Yes there are. They were built in lots of American cities from the 1950s-1980s and are synonymous with poverty and crime. They have such a bad reputation that in the late 1990s Congress passed a law to that forbids the federal government from building public housing.
Like this, is a block in Cologne built in the 80s. It's not the worst example, because there is one grocery a 10 minute walk away. Real Capitalism Blocks have fuck all infrastructure.
Look at all those greens though.
Meanwhile, in Thailand.
looks very bleak when 90% of your city is commieblocks
I've never lived in anything else than a commieblock so I have no idea what it is like to live in a detached house desu.
Or here is an example from Berlin of what I suppose is newly built Capitalism Blocks (blue) mixed with old Commieblocks (red).
this is one of the worst neighbourhoods in whole country, but people who live there says its actually not that bad.
There is no suffering in Finland
