No, you got a point. At least Nazi Germany had great aesthetics, and a taboo value to their legacy. DDR doesn't have much.

yeeah but muh soul :^))))

It was.

t. ancestors spent 1000 years in various German states

>at least
It was actually on the forefront of technology as well.

Western leftists always go full soy mode over this shithole for some reason
i guess it is because it was the only germanic communist nation

It wasn't a globohomo dystopia. The current state is the worst one

>hates the GDR
>loves the nazis
Hmmm.

I’m not convinced there wasn’t at least one plague-ridden shithole member of the HRE that was probably worse.

Krauts managed to turn coal into gasoline , thats pretty impressive

>National Socialism and communism are... LE SAME!

>ywn be a Stasi spying on your neighbors
>ywn have a cheese pizza ring collecting info for you through sexual favors
>ywn defect to the BND after reunification
>ywn be hired by the BND
>ywn keep old Stasi records

No they're the polar opposite of each other, it's just obvious where anticommunism comes from.

Aye, truth be told the process was not all that efficient but ever time they surely would've improved it.
Well I mean Nazi Germany had private property, a market open enough that it allowed for innovation while safeguarding the nations interests, an actual focus on German culture instead of pushing Russian culture on us...
I'm thinking it was pretty based.
And opposed to common wisdom it did not have vax madates:

And they even allowed for protests at the height of the war:

Whatever anyone else might think of them for Germans they were actually pure kino.

Echtes Hocheuropa in picrel.

I mean that's true, the GDR took 'de-nazification' way more seriously than the BRD, even though most people here think the opposite is the case.

Best to worst:
>German Empire
>Federal Republic of Germany
>Holy Roman Empire
>German Democratic Republic
>Nazi Germany
>Weimar Republic

>Nazi Germany had private property, a market
Yeah no doubt.

I read Bosch is experimenting with synthetic gasoline again, I kneel to Kraut chemical industry

I have never seen such an incomprehensive, contradicatory list. Bravo.

And let me guess, German communists don't count of course.
What the GDR promoted was proletarian culture and Russian culture is part of the wider heritage. Hans Modroww was brought up on a diet of nazism and was shocked when Soviet soldiers knew more about German poetry than he did in 1945.
