Is it true that Mexicans can live in the US for like 20 years without learning English? Even Somalis who live here manage to learn decent enough Swedish after a few years, and English is the defacto international language that I would expect the Mexicans to have some skills in even before they move, especially since they share a border with an English-speaking country.
