I pledge allegiance

>I pledge allegiance
>to the Flag
>of the United States of America,
>and to the Republic
>for which it stands,
>one Nation
>under God,
>indivisible,
>with liberty and justice for all
We have to chant this every morning of every schoolday throughout our entire school life. Do you do something similar in your cunt?

no not really

>we have to
we don't

What happens when a kid stay silent? Do teachers even care for things like these?

I did have not sure bout Zoomers.

It isn't forced
Op's a liar

Imagine not pledging your allegiance and your loyalty to your country. No wonder Amerikkka is growing weaker, while China is growing ever stronger. Your ancestors fought the Brits just so your kids can call your country bad lmao.

It's not forced but it's like saying Good Morning to the teacher. Everyone else is doing it, the teacher her/himself encourages it, and only a few kids (maybe around age 8-10) will bother to break away from it. My friend started sitting during the pledge and the teacher never said anything. It's never forced, just creepy and expected

You are allowed to sit it out but people will get pissed off at you. I had a teacher yell at me one time in elementary school

Back then I tried my best to avoid singing it, as I was dead hard communist; and there was even this one occasion I got in trouble for singing >lyricstranslate.com/en/perfeicao-perfection.html while claiming this was our real national hymn.

Your teacher was wrong

I agree

Anyone has that meme with the kid sitting out?

Nothing, literally nothing. By highschool people would just talk when the pledge of allegiance was played, and look at their phones

depends on what kind of area you're in

I work in schools. Elementary it's forced but as you get older and go to middle and high, they're don't care that much. But it sometimes depends on the school districts as well. The one I work in is more richer and strict about this stuff but the school district that my little sisters go to aren't. When one of my sisters started going to the new school and she stood up for the pledge since it was an enforced habit, nobody else did. One black girl called her racist and started bullying her. We're not even white.

A kid in my elementary school class sat down for it and the teacher made him write an essay

good on him! don’t really agree with the practice, but it’s a tradition, and as we know traditions are the cornerstone of any society, let alone an empire. start to tug at all the corners and… well…

Yes, pledge used to be done in school daily.
Kek happened in my school once.
Apparently the teacher made the whole class say it repeatedly until the smartass finally do it, the whole class hated his guts.

Misquote, should be

The pledge is based
We need more nationalism in the US

based edgelord

Stopped for me in 6th grade.
Nobody had the patience for it.

Because the countries that do pledges are the eons that sell out their citizens the most.

we have to salute a protrait of the Queen every morning and sing God save are quern

is that how she got so powerful?
