faith weapons really only come out in the mid game sadly, but most builds in ER can be broken if you keep speccing into the stats

Bought a whole bunch of AC stuff last several months; € 15 each for PS4 (the Eizo trilogy is € 15 too). A matter of 'this'll get me through the lockdown'.

I'm doing every dungeon and quest line before progressing to other continents, that's why I'm clocking more hours than usual. Initially stated with duel bleed katana, then dex/int moonveil, now I play with quality claymore with some fai to rp as saber, lol

Elden Ring. After making sure I had killed every boss I started a new save file with the item randomizer mod, pretty fun so far.

ended up playing the endgame with an int/vigor/endurance build rolling moonlight gs and heavy armor. felt amazing being a beefy spellcaster and also have a big greatsword that shoots magic
yeah, the game was really fun up until that point and i loved exploring. just wasnt really that fun going all over the map trying to find five hundred different pieces.
i definitely think some of the bosses needed more work put into them. they all sort of suffer from relying too much on roll catches and delayed attacks, as if they're all trying to emulate what the nameless king did in ds3. it kinda loses its appeal when all bosses do it somewhat, but i'd still give the bosses overall a definite 8/10. malenia can definitely go fuck herself tho

I've been replaying 40k Mechanicus last week, haven't played anything yesteeday or today yet.

Regarding the OP game, I have zero interest in dork souls.

My main gripe is that while most are easy, there are few bosses with such tiny attack windows that they seem too difficult for me to solo without spirit summons since I have a 2H build. It seems the bosses can link and mix combos so learning the windows takes more time than usual. And if that isnt enough theres the roll catches and delayed hits further complicating learning the hit sets. Also they destroy me in a few hits even with 40 vigor.

yeah i understand that. some bosses i cant really understand how i'd be able to hope to beat without spirit summons, considering the most satisfying thing in these games is probably beating a genuinely hard boss solo. i also like the guard counter mechanic but i barely used it against bosses since their downtime with attacks were usually so low that i'd just get hit during my counter
