Does your country like EU4?
Does your country like EU4?
no I'm a vicky 2 type of bloke
just finished a game as krakow to PLC
Haven't played it for a while now. I still play Viky2/CK2 now and again. EU4 feels like a soulless blobbing simulator.
Swedes made all of these games btw.
I don't hate EU4 but it's too much of a board game and not nearly enough of a simulation. Looking forward to V3 and should maybe try M&T in the meantime.
Yes, cause they've added both the Slovene culture and the Slovene-culture Counts of Cilli faction to the game with the Emperor DLC. Haven't been playing it at all tho. One idea I have is to play a Hindu state in Gujarat, take Daman, flip it to Parsi by event, convert to Parsi and Zoroastrian via rebels, take Persia, make it Zoroastrian and Parsi, and basically play the early modern Sassanian state.
playing russia is a pain
ai has this retarded fixation on carpet sieging and using any hole in your zone of control to beeline into siberia
With Quantity ideas you can basically form a front line though
Also, what's up with the pic, OP? Are you on drugs?
Your favourite tag? For me its Burgundy. VGH.
Unironically Russia, basically my fav country in every PDX game.
Got it from jewgle images
Seeing Justinian's empire reforged by my hand brought a tear to my eye ngl
VGHH L'EMPIRE BOURGUIGNON
its literally impossible to reach force with quantity as russia because you have to own like china and india to economically support it
Never tried it. Like CK3. Should I pick it up?
Try trade ideas and form one big gravy train trade route from Bejing to St. Petersburg. You'll be swimming in trade money. Tax income will be 30% of total income.
>not forming Lothringia
ngmi
If you pirate the ridiculous amount of DLC sure
Russia is crazily OP. Granted, I was playing on normal then, but at one point I managed to vassalise the Ming and afterwards set up a satellite state encompassing all of northern China. I also had my capital in Constantinople.
Aragon. You can do anything.
I hate the new world more than ever so I'm glad that you can just have two Iberian nations under PU colonizing for you. Too bad that colonial nations never conquer natives on their own anymore.
Ethiopia second place because resisting the Arabs and Turks is always a fun and painful experience. Any horde 3rd place.
Custom nation
I"m a CK2 slow brain player, pic related is end-game.
Friesland into Netherlands. You're in a weird position where you're definitely a power, but France or England could crush you if they wanted, so it keeps you on your toes. Spain has cores on your land so you have to deal with the spanish pests.
Great games you've had with unexpected tags? My game as Lubeck ended up in me seizing control of the Congo basin along with the home provinces between Hamburg and Danzig, making obscene amounts of money and winning the 30 years war for the prods with hordes of mercenaries. Never even attempted another merchant republic after that because it was just too damn fun the first time around, so as not to diminish the experience.
Fighting Russia/Muscovy in EU3/4 and Vicky2 has made my russophobic.
It's always such a hassle even if your army mogs theirs.
I also can't stand EU4 after the middle of the third age. Too much AI blobbing and giant armies get stackwiped easily.
Are there any mods that make nations more unstable?
I have like 7000 hours in eu4
