Why do mixed Latinos think they're completely different from white people? They're part European with mainly European cultures. They all speak Spanish or Portuguese and a large part of their cultures are from Spain and Portugal.
Also genetically most of them are at least half white: Brazil >European ancestry accounts for 62% of the heritage of the population, followed by the African (21%) and the Native American (17%). Mexico >mestizo Mexicans are 58.96% European, 35.05% "Asian" (primarily Amerindian), and 5.03% Other. Colombia >the average Colombian (of all races) has a mixture of European 62.5%, native Amerindian 27.4%, African 9.2% and East Asian 0.9%.
Why do they refer to themselves as Latino while denying their European heritage? Or do they only do this in the USA in order to differentiate themselves from the regular white Americans?
Aren’t the vast majority mixed Latinos? Not many pure Indians or pure whites in Mexico these days?
Jaxson Reyes
Because we aren't European, stop looking so far into it.
Adam Moore
What I meant is that, Latinos and especially Mexicans think they're fucking natives, while you call yourselves Latino and speak Spanish
Blake Price
We dont call ourselves latinos We identify ourselves with our countries And here people dont care enough about race to overthink what they are. Of course Pelé is black, Gisele Bundchen is white. Rest dont care enough to think about it
Austin Evans
Most Mexicans just think of themselves as Mexican. Colombians are Colombians. Brazilians are Brazilians.
Eli Garcia
Because "European" doesn't equal "white", dumb mutt. Did you know Europe has many races? The Iberian race isn't part of the white race (aka Germanic race). Also, you'll never be white, proxyfaggot.
Charles James
Of course we are white, we arent nordic white. (Germans arent nordic either btw)
Cooper Lee
>Why do mixed Latinos think they're completely different from white people? That doesn’t happen here
Carter Bennett
Spaniards aren't White because they have souls.
Kayden Adams
we don't see ourselves as europeans or indigenous, but mexican some may identify more with the romantizised version of the indigenous because of nationalism, that doesn't mean that they see themselves as that, but simply that a part of that is us
Bcoz the hispanic, that yes is diferent of portuguese colonial system, was not this way
Kevin Lopez
What country is that? I didn't think any South American countries had enough income or infrastructure to support dress codes and have covered ball courts.
The First spaniards in Americas, that came with four conquistadors, Almagro/Pizarro/Ponce/..., was paid landwords that mixed with indian, the Dons, and abandonned the childrens mestizos, and they grow building neighborhoods, marrying with other mestizos and becaming majority of population
Ayden Campbell
Oh
