yes, chinese are doing category theory in preschool

I mean, we learned that in like high school.

Kek you are joking right? I learned that shit in high school.

Wow you must be smart

Also what cheat code do you put in to display england flag?

What school did you go to? I learned that starting in 6th grade.

that's high school math, but still quite early i'd say
maybe they have specific advanced math classes for gifted kids, wish i'd have had those

Heh, I learned that in algebra in 8th grade :)
Sidenote I also got a 33 on my act (really good score)
Picrel is me btw, nordic as fuck

t. went to Norf FC high school

>6th grade
Fuck off yank

britbro... i had this in my first year of high school

Think we learned those at about 15. The state of bong education.

>quadratic equation
>in uni
no way this is real
i learned it in middle school and i wasnt even in the advanced math group that learn stuff earlier.

Wait wait

Other countries learn such complex maths in HS? WTF

I’m not a yank, cunt. I said grade to not confuse everyone else with our special snowflake terminology.

You guys are trolling the fuck out of me rn

There is no way a high schooler can learn something this complicated. This is the type of shit u see sprawled on a scientists blackboards in good will hunting or dexters lab

quadratic equation only really requires basic algebra to understand, why do people pretend its some advanced calculus shit

I only learned algebra at the end of high school

Are you sure you’re not the troll? I studied that in middle, with refreshers in high and uni.

you gotta went to special ed school...

Bro I learned this when I was 13 (8th grade)

fuck off lmao, it's too obvious

I learned quadratics when I was 14

You lads are pulling my leg surely

my parents had to pay for a tutor so that I could understand these. it took like 3 weeks. it's been well over a decade and I to this day I hate math and I will always say that it shouldn't be mandatory in schools unless kids really love retarded numbers

Understandable
It seems abusive to make a young teenager learn something so complex while their brain is still developing.

You, a Russian of all people, being anti-intellectual. Now I’ve seen everything.

Confusing thread. I also only learned Quadratics in university like OP. Weird that this isn't the same internationally.

kids should be taught what they're the best at to raise specialists instead we're stuck with "old" education system which tries to teach you everything
even when I went to technical college to become a chef they bombarded me with chemistry, physics and math so I just ended up doing light drugs and drinking beer until they kicked me out and in 2 years not once did we actually try to do something related to food

it's understandable why they keep it like this since it would be hard to maintain such educational system working you'd have to move kids from school to school to fill in the class etc but nevertheless I think system should be changed one day
