Dude only sounds good in an american accent. Any other accent makes it sound grating
no
sounds better without an accent
Sorry little dutch-slug, but I spent years in france and germany and they definitely imitate us and use our slang and wear our clothes and watch our movies and listen to our music.
The only thing people imitate from britain is occassionally their spelling, and even that is a 50/50 thing.
I understand your inclination to cope.
