I only remember a couple fights from my high school days and they were all between fat girls.

High School was the peak for me. I want to go back. Had more sex than I've had the next 10 years. Was actually popular. Wasn't seen as a failure yet.

But some kid at my high school unwittingly went to the prom with a dude. He felt an erect dick during the slow dance. We were all shocked. He was ridiculed and laughed at by everyone during computer class the next day. We did not think he was a fag but we had a lot of fun at his expense .

some kid got murdered my freshman year.
He went to Oakland. Don't go to Oakland. he was only 16. The pretty white girl that sat in front of me during homeroom and got into drugs heavy. She had some freakout at her drug dealers house and took all her clothing and demanded more drugs (I was not there but that is what everyone else said at homeroom). She dropped out and walled super quick. Some kid my junior year got killed in a car accident (not his fault). Some stoner substitute teacher got an eraser thrown at him during class once and it left a mark. I would be surprised if the kid that did it was not in prison now. During senior year some kid would go into our English teacher's desk before class when the teacher was in the bathroom and photograph the test. Some girl was caught by the janitor sucking some guy dick. She was marked as a slut after that. I would make notices when one of our teachers was looking the other way and this other kid always got blamed. I kicked a chair out from under someone once. I threw some kid backpack out the window once as well. One of our teachers was caught looking at porn and another was high all the time. And some girl I knew went on a few dates with Sean Mendez. I still got a lot more. Tons of fights and other personal shenanigans.

no, just public high school in San Francisco from 2011-2016

I went to the top public school in my state (Wealthiest city in a Southern US state) and it was 90% white 8% asian 2% Hispanic/Black. I legit think there were under 30 black people in my school of 1600 kids between 4 grades. Anyway, I wouldn't consider it to be the average US public school experience. No fights, no outright bullying, respectful kids in class for the most part. The different social classes intermingled fine. I will say my experience is biased because I took solely Advanced Placement/Honors classes with all the other high achieving smart kids, so I didn't ever have to deal with the retards taking math classes 2 years behind their grade level. I would say 15-20% of my grade went to Ivy League/top 20 US schools. That being said, I had some good times and funny stories, but overall I wasn't happy. I never found a true close-knit friend group, but had several I floated in and out of.
