Why do Christians insist on calling the Nazi Hooked Cross, Swastika?
Hitler never mentioned the word 'Swastika' in his book, but 'HakenKreuz'.

Christians? We Swedes call the symbol Hakkors (Hook-cross) too.

"Swastika" is supposed to be an Indian word that the Brits picked up over there? I think?
Anyway, in all Germanic European languages except for English, it is a variation of "Hakenkreuz" or hook-cross. It's derived from the sunwheel of paleolithic times that can be found in archaeological sites and artifacts all over northern Europe. The sun-wheel sometimes has more than just four spokes.

>Haken Kreuz
>totally not a Kreuz bros

I don't get what you're trying to say.

Nazism (Nat-Soc) was a christian influenced ideology and Hitler was Christian in his thought.

You know nothing. Hitler was extremely Anti-Christian. He saw Christian religion as a curse that had to be overcome. Many Catholics were prosecuted in the Third Reich and died in concentration camps just because they stood by their faith.
Anyway, the Hakenkreuz predates Christianity by at least 10,000 years, and the Hakenkreuz is definitely not derived from the Christian cross, but from the sunwheel. Go look it up if you can even read.

How about you speak for your religion and I speak for mine? Else I'll start calling them Swastikas too, not my problem. Leading Nazis like Göbbles and Göring advocated neo-paganism (Göring was the one to bring up the hook-cross). Nazis worked against the church and persecuted believers. They killed millions upon millions of christians with no remorse.

retard

Hakenkreuz = Swastika = hooked cross

Using different languages won't change the thing you're trying to describe. It's all in your head schizo

Who cares. At the end of the day nazis were bitter chuds anyway

The Christian cross has its origins in the Roman crucifixion, the Hakenkreuz is based on the sun wheel and possibly swastika. Absolutely different things

fun fact Sanation (post-)socialist government in Poland also used the swastika, earlier than Hitler, in fact. Communists propagandized it all to be taboo post-war b/c they didn't want any identity or history-related symbolism and the West ate it up b/c Americans are dolts.

people with these medals fought the nazis

Swastika doesn't mean hooked cross. All other names for that symbol describes the symbol, whereas Swastika gives meaning to what the symbol represents.

The elites use symbolism to gain power. In order for their symbols to become powerful, they needed to first denigrate the existing symbol of peace and prosperity. The Swastika.

Once a symbol's meaning is stained and the perception towards it is corrupted, it loses its magic.

Nazis kill millions of jews then after the war Vatican helped establishing the "ratlines" which helped nazis and ss who were involved in Holocaust escape
the most famous one was Eichmann
Vatican knew about Holocaust even during the war

>catholics were persecuted by nazis
>somehow for NO reason at all catholic church helps nazi Warcriminals escape justice after the war
Hmmmm

doubt

Are you in denial or just stupid? The symbol you're trying to describe does not change. What you make out of it does.

Dreieck = Trikona = Triangle

Is the triangle not a triangle because I call it Trikona or Dreieck now?

They killed much more Christians than Jews.

>Vatican
Prove that the order came from the Pope.
The Nazis closed my Catholic school for being Catholic
