they seem to think that these things have some sort of inherent, immutable quality to them
They seem to treat their laws in the same regard, thinking that their law is like an immutable rule of the universe and can never be changed or altered, and they treat words the same way, that it isn't society and it's culture that impart these words meaning and give them context, but that the words themselves are what gives them meaning and provides the context, really weird behavior in my opinion
