Things that europoors fear

I really don't get why europoors hate having an actual house with room in it. People think it's weird that back home I actually have a house and don't live like a sardine

It will take a while before Americans reply to this post
First they need to tremble in fear of infrastructure and actual nature and an ungated community

everyone on belgium lives in a house

we have both here
did you guys not know that?
or is this some meme?

oh so your houses dont share walls with the neighbours? dude you cant even walk between them and your entire facade is completely open towards the streer meaning no privacy at all. detatched housing here must be minimum 4m from the property border and 8m from the neighbours house and we are experts at planning it so you actually have lots of private space outdoors without the weird feeling of having the entire neighbourhood watching your every move. your suburbs are worse than commieblocks.

>>car centric suburb

this is how this suburb would be buildt here, gray is driveway, green is lawn, black the garage bc fuck having the garage as part of the house. how is this coping when its the reality, we dont buy detatched houses to live like sardines. at least 3x more property per house and no street parking, staring neighbours and stupid HOA. you claim to have space so why do you choose to live like sardines in a can?

Picrel is sardine light.
>It has none of the stuff you get in city
>Yet everyone is tightly packed together without proper gardens
Worst of both worlds.

I hatea suburb so fucking much. When I was in my early 20s I could drop parties in the city center since the wall were strong. In the burb I can hear the women screaming 2 block away.

suburb is a self collapsing concept. It's expensive and it's only good if you don't have a friend and your kid is a loser. Being a parent in these house is a nightmare. It's cool if you have a baby but when he becomes a kid he will want to play outside and due to the lack of sidewack your child gets to walk in a 30km/h max road where car goes to 60 average. Due to the lack of people outside it's pretty dangerous to let a kid walk alone. The worst comes when he's a teen. Since the kid doesn't have a driver license, you have to bring the kid there in your car and pick him up midnight. You waste your entire night in a car.

>3000sq
most houses are 2000sq average. new Built are 1800sq~ now. They could have been bigger but it's illegal to build near the sidewalk. They require 2m mininum in my suburb.
>200sq
doesn't really exist. A 3 bedroom appartemment is usually 1000sq. They are always smaller since it lack a basement most of the time. You could easily live in the city inside a sixplex and live at the 1st floor, you'le get a basement and 2200sq.
