I just spent 3 months in America and was close to moving there but fuck me am I glad I came back. Yanks are too nice, the country is too nice. It lacks the homely feel this country and its people have. Same with the Netherlands, while perfect in most respects its filled with dutch people who are automatons. Australia I will give to you but the way they handled the pandemic does make me think twice to be honest.

The UK might be the perfect balance between laid back and efficient. People follow the rules for the most part and things work well but there is a bit of leeway on most things where you can bend the rules a bit and get away with it and people dont mind so long as you are mindful of others. This is something I've realised coming back from America, they are right tight cunts when it comes to do the rules, we are a bit more common sense about things.
