No. If you have just created the card you have already done the first round of learning. You have read and selected the definitions, tried to interpret the source sentence with the new knowledge and made yourself a mnemonic if the word is hard. It makes no sense to put off reviewing for a few days. You should start while it is still fresh.

>この文明では、極めて二極的な思想が浸透している…」 >>「善と悪、有と無、意識と無意識…それらの思想が文明に浸透しているのではないか?」 My interpretation is both 文明 refer to one specific civilization which was probably mentioned in the preceding part of the context. It sounds like it's a scene the characters are talking about something about archeology and that civilization is the topic, even thought both lines are stated by the same person. And in the first line the speaker is saying that the feature of the civilization (of some ancient society they are talking about?) is its extremely bipolar way of thinking, like simply good/bad and no intermediates. And he's reasoning it is because of bipolar concepts/beliefs/philosophies infused into the citizens of the civilization.

so the second line is his reasoning for thinking the first line, like "is it because of the concepts like good vs evil present in it (that make me think that way"?
I think so. The second line being interrogative sound like he's guessing probably the citizens of the civilization were kind of obsessed with or worshiping those concepts as kind of the national religion.

Thanks. It would've made more sense for my gaijin brain if it was phrased as >そう思うのは (...)それらの思想はこの文明に浸透しているからか
