In America the ideal salary starting out is 100k but that’s not that much anymore. I did my associates in high school so I graduated college two years earlier. I’m 24 now. My pay is on a contracted basis and I normally contract for a quarter so I can make 40-60k per contract depending on the depth of the project. Generally it’s implementing a stage in business development or bringing a product to launch and I help establish the entire project and organize it into all business units. I do a lot of the legwork for a quarter and also path out their 1yr 3yr and 5yr plans. The big bucks come from the fact my firm does tech startups so part of our payment is in company stock. Half the shares go to the firm and the other half of we keep. So I can probably retire in 10-20 years if I wanted to
