They started catering to western tourists in the past decade or so so it is not even worth it for Hungarians to go there when a holiday in Croatia is cheaper. I like Balaton since I've spent a lot of time there as a kid but it is not worth it at this point.

You got it backwards. Hungary sucks because the people suck. There are some smart people but not nearly enough and they tend to leave the country. Japan could become a world leading economy and innovator from a feudal state in an extremely short amount of time because it had a lot of smart people. The last time Hungary was good during the early 20th century because we had smart people. People like Kalman who invented the phase converter during the industrialization of Hungary so they designed the first main electric railway in Italy. Today, Hungary does not design anything. No rockets, trains, medical equipment, nothing gets designed here. People dont care about anything. They dont care about the environment so they litter. They dont care about doing decent work so they do a sloppy job. They dont care about the world so they dont speak foreign languages and they dont bother with education. Nothing gets designed here. Even at places like KPMG or Stanley people only do non-important outsourced work western people did not bother with. The average person here is close to a Any Forumstard, always blaming someone else, no responsibility. Hungary is just an assembly factory for western goods because we have the weakest currency on the continent. Orban could raise to power because the average person is an illiterate retard.
