memories of murder is a really good film. by the way, why do so many korean films include some sort of revenge in them? i don't think memories of murder had that much of that, but films like oldboy, taxi driver, a bittersweet life, the ending of parasite and probably many others i haven't seen have some sort of themes for revenge and vendetta and stuff. it's quite an interesting phenomenon, don't you think?
