How do people work a 40h week and not die? Like 5 days a week do 8h a day exactly the same thing and this all year long
Im 30 years old and I've never worked a full day in my life. Even if I have a job where they expect me to be there 8h a day if come late count my lunch break into working hours and take more lunch break and leave early so I'd spend 6h max. And then I work like 3h and just pretend the rest.
my dude people used to work 70 hours/week only a century ago, and on soul-crushing dangerous jobs no less

I still like my current job so I don't even mind going over hours (they still get paid). But I don't think I'll be able to do this my whole life nonostop. I will move to NOrway or Finland or some other nordic country with a 4 day week and chill for the rest of my life under perpetual midnight or daylight.
James Walker
>let me tell you about your life I have a 80 hour work week as a resident plus a 24 hour mandatory shift on Saturday or Sunday, making it 104 hours a week It's the fucking norm, educate yourself
Money or education (for money)
Jaxson Flores
Half my time at work I'm just reading a bit drinking chocolate milk.
One day a week I work at home, so I'll just lay in bed with my laptop for 6 hours longer.
Brody Jones
As long as my laptop is on, I'm working.

Kayden Hall
Your employer purchases the amount of hours stated on your payslip. If it's not sufficient they failed to plan their company properly. Not my fucking problem they not doing their job properly.
Literally watch a yt video Most educational content, even of top universities is available free. Why you need to pay 50k for a paper that states you did it. You'll be surprised how little education matters in worklife and how much actual problem solving is rewarded
Charles Foster
>nigger i make 250k a year at 24 yeah but do you have sovl?
John Young
>You'll be surprised how little education matters in worklife and how much actual problem solving is rewarded The motivation to learn is also important. You can be part of most teams in the industry by pure motivation and little background knowledge.

>40 hour week Lmao I work 12 hour shifts and I've worked every day since Monday. My next day off will be Thursday. That's 10 shifts in a row without break. That's why I will be a property owner soon and you will be a rent cuck or leeching off your parents all your life.
Kevin Rivera
>Why you need to pay 50k for a paper that states you did it. other than things like medicine or law, it's more about getting internships and decent junior positions while or immediately after uni
