You get rich not because you have a successfull product like whatever it is apple sells, or Microsoft windows, but because you get a contract from the state to build a route from x to y, and the route from x to y chosen is the worst least rational option no expert wanted, it ends up being 5 times more expensive that originally was planned, and it may never end up being built with the project left half finished and most of the money stolen.

Take Kazakhstan as an example of a 'wealth sharing' Oligarchy. The institutions of state are still in private hands and wealth is controlled by a few families all controlling parts of the government. Which compared to the wealthy in America is nowhere near similar.
