obviously not having universal healthcare makes your country a shithole (yes im calling america a shithole) but you pay for it with taxes. its not free

>free

a government that pays for Healthcare from its budget uses its oversight to reduce the cost of medicine. therefore, the average taxpayer pays less (about a third) in taxes for Healthcare than we pay for insurance

I know many people who have gone to operate in the US but I don't know any American who has come to being operated here...

sure, still doesnt make it free

I've always hated this meme map trying to make fun of burgers for not having free and universal healthcare while ignoring the quality. Is free and universal healthcare in Namibia on the same level as Denmark? Bring up some stats that weigh the cost vs quality if you want to style on people.

>free
>universal
No such thing.

If anything it's national.

america lives rent free in the minds of many including OP

America's system is actually cheaper. We have something that works for everyone. Universal Healthcare is retarded and forces the taxpayers to subsidize the bad habits of the poor.

USA would actually be blue cause of medicare/medicaid

Medicare doesn't cover everything.

it's not even free just heavily subsided

Regardless of what retards in this thread are saying we have universal health care and our healthcare system is so fucked most people who can afford it get treatment in the united states

We have public and private care and they're both highly regarded. It's such a simple thing to have both systems and they are affordable to maintain. How this eludes some countries is baffling. We even facilitate care for international patients, including many Americans.

Maybe your system is poorly run? I mean you are Ecuadorian.

Understand it for once, Joe. Your government (your true government) doesn't give half a fuck about american "people", they see them as a huge soulles army who will fight and destroy their enemies. Doesn't matter if americans die or cannot afford a healthcare, who cares lol, their only purpose is to fight for Israel

>Americans cant imagine private clinics and public free hospitals at the same time in your city

I hear 30-40 million Canadians go to America every year for healthcare because your queues are so long so yeah, you definitely fucked up somewhere.

try 30-40 thousand but yeah. We have a chronic lack of doctors because Canadian medical schools are retardedly selective and expensive and we cant get enough doctors to immigrate here because they make more money in the US,

>Ecuador
>free and universal healthcare
The only free thing here is a bullet to the head.

I asked an American about this when he came here to use our healthcare and he said something similar. He also said you have death panels where doctors decide who lives and dies based on their political stance, which sounds pretty extreme to me.

Based Thailand

At the rate at which healthcare insurance premiums, copays, and deductibles are increasing, the average American will not be able to afford even the most basic healthcare by 2060. By then healthcare will be a luxury reserved for the top 0.01%.

hummmm should we tell him ?

>simple thing to have both systems
Why have a duopoly when you can have a monopoly?

>free
you pay it for life
>universal
you pay for everyone

also if you actually got some serious shit you better pack up your bags and prepare your tips because there's literally nowhere else but the USA to go if you want the best medicine has to offer

not really. because the govt can negotiate the prices of meds.

A lot of the universal healthcare systems have things they won't cover

americans have to pay 5k USD to remove cavities.

It literally cost me 20 USD in a private clinic here.

cope.

The USA is the only country on Earth where the government does not set price controls for healthcare. So naturally American doctors, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies engage in heavy price gouging (you cannot really say no when it is your life or your child's life on the line) and end up charging patients something like $5000 for a vial of insulin when it is $5 per vial in the rest of the world.

The dentists quoted me something like $6500 to get a couple of root canals here in Texas. It costs less than $200 in Mexico, and the quality is the same.

I have healthcare and my employer pays for it

Yeah, but insurance companies pay a fraction of the cost because of their bargaining power. It is criminal that they pay so little while individuals are expected to pay so much.

Is literally cheaper to travel in airplane to mexico private hospital, lmao.

I imagine you aren't including the tithe the local communist guerrilla demands from you to pass through their malaria-infested jungle active warzone

It literally costed me 1-2 USD for getting a cavities removed in my goverment hospital, lmao.

The root cause of the problem is not health insurance companies, as evil and greedy as they are. The root cause is healthcare providers (doctors, hospitals, drug companies, pharmacies) charging insane prices for medicines and procedures.

Compare cash prices (without insurance) for medical services in the USA to any other country. A simple specialist visit in the USA has a cash price of around $400 in my state. In Australia, the cash price would be $20.

Why isnt there a company making it for cheaper?
