Reminder

In 2016 New Zealand had a referendum to change their flag. This design ended up being the finalist and was going to be New Zealand's new flag, but in the end the Kiwis instead voted to keep their current flag with the union jack.

What a tragedy. They could have had this beautiful and exotic design, while also finally not having a flag that is identical to ours, yet they voted against it. What an actual tragedy.

good, that flag looks like shit

It could do without the stars

Too many colors, too many shapes.
Should have been just the leaf on a black background.

Good.
Remind quivering kiwi cheeks who's actually in charge.

they should've gone for this one

Still better than their current flag

Its not, current flag is great. That looks like cheap artwork someone did in paint.

kill yourself

Uhmm... sweaty, we're supposed to be the only leafs on this on this earth.

NZoids hated their former prime minister, if Jacinda did this, around 90% would vote for this flag

...

I prefer both flags from the left.

No Sir John key was widely loved and had approval ratings in the 60s, it's just the vote was partisan except the traditionalists switched sides. Jacinda is not very popular there are polls with the opposition beating her
