They would get independent.

the midget wouldn't be pleased

Wtf chechens look like this

Aren't the Chechens fighting for Putin in Ukraine right now

Chechens have been castrated
I think they will eventually rebel and start chopping off Ruskie soldat heads again but it won't be any time soon

yes, so imagine if they rebelled now as vengeance

This, Kadyrov is Putin's bitchboy.

The Chechens that hate Russia aren't the soldiers they're separatists and they might make moves with kadyrov hiding in a Belarusian bunker.

Kadyrov won't allow that. His teyp (clan) made a deal with Moscow - they suppress any opposition (both nationalists and Wahhabis) and in return they get a steam of money from the federal budget for dem programs. Any staunch opposition (i.e. Wahhabis) got killed or escaped as refugees to Europe, lol (I hope France, Sweden etc enjoy them, lmao).

Other way around he pays them protection money

Pretty much this, although attempts on kadyrovs life happen every now and then and shootings are frequent.

Shootings and bombings happen all the time but there is no open insurgency in Caucasus. Putin "pacifying" Caucasus was what made him an authoritative figure in Russia, it's the backbone of his political capital. Which, in turns, makes his position incredibly powerful. Like, any public figure making any sort of negative comment about Chechnya makes an apology to Kadyrov, or Chechen police can kidnap people in different regions of Russia to Chechnya.

>dem programs.
what?

I honestly don't get how they can attack Ukrainians when they want to be free from Russia just like Chechens, the pay must be good

Kadyrov guys are. They're in charge of Chechnya since the last Chechen war. Basically Putin's bitches. Opposition left to Europe. Some of them are already fighting for Ukraine, some(their exile government as an independent state) have pledged to volunteer for the war today.

This seems like a timebomb, like the moment money can't keep coming in fast enough to keep them happy they have everything they need to chimp out again.

Kadyrov's extended family is the first to go. It will also mean internal strife for leadership and bloodshed between various clans.

What is the common Chechen opinion on Kadyrov? Do they like him or is he viewed as a traitor?

Yeah but in the process they may shoot up another school or theater

>another school or theater
In Chechnya. *Yawn*
He's a sovereign monarch in all but name. Go figure.
