A slice of bread is called a 'sneedje brood'. Sneed = cut/slice, and -je means "little". So it's "little slice"
Also two of those songs are old Dutch, which is quite a bit different from modern Dutch. It sounds a bit more German.

I always found it eerie as a kid. So similar to German (and my dialect in particular), but more throaty and, to me, just straight up weird. I always mistook it for a strange dialect. But it’s not a bad language and the Dutchies are based regardless
