You're eventually going to learn that the only thing which really matters is what can be enforced.

Whatever Ukraine thinks about Russia, if it cannot muster an effective deterrence, its views and opinions are worthless.

Everything else is just naive utopian idealist bullshit.

- Just because people in South and East speak Russian, doesn't mean they're Russians or share political views with Russia
- Most of the people just want to fucking live, they don't really care for Ukraine, Russia, or war. Right now Russia is agressor, why would you be part of country that attacks yours?
- EU offers some sort of prosperity, easy trade, stability. Italy, Germany, Sweden, Spain are part of it. What does does union with Russia offer? Only shitty countries like Belarus or Kazahstan want it.

Lmao

the war has shifted a lot of ukrainians from being pro-russia to pro-ukraine

Why isn't Ukraine enforcing the minsk agreement?

>the war has shifted a lot of ukrainians from the east to the west as they flee incoming russian tanks and attack choppers
Fix'd

That's kinda it. Before 2014 it was kind of consensus that Russians and Ukrainians were "brotherly nations". Both East Slavs, same religion, similar cuisine, very similar languages (plus a lot of Ukrainians speak Russian / Surzhyk), a lot of common history, etc. But after Crimea annexation and creation of separatist republics in the East, a lot changed. What kind of "brother" attacks you and takes your territory?

How can they enforce minsk agreement during full scale Russian invasion?

Note how the survey is not centred on donbass or luhansk and note how the questions are phrased not as per region but considering the entirety of ukraine. Also note how it is done by an American news organisation.

Nah lots of Ukrainians speak Russian as their preferred language but that doesn't mean everybody that does is pro-Russian politically.

CIA propaganda

Here have a prewar one

>full scale Russian invasion
???
Where are you getting this propaganda from? Lmao

That's usage of the Russian language.
Using Russian language doesn't mean they want to be part of Russia.

45% in the east is still a lot of people

>less than 40% on average even talked ukrainian
Even if we disregard this, the people have spoken, nobody in crimea, donetsk or luhansk wanted to be part of the ukrainian gov.

And even THEN, constitutionally the authorities of any province are entitled to separate from ukraine if minsk treaties arent met.

Anyone who knows anything about Ukraine would tell you the same thing. Before 2014 there was indeed massive support for Slavic brotherhood, we're the same nation and all that crap, but the shit Russia has pulled since has killed most of it. We can even see a broadly similar shift right here in CZ: our pro-Russian fifth column (shrinking but still obnoxious) has died off virtually overnight.

Being bullied by literal nazis will do that to you

You are genuinely, certifiedly insane.

They also called Nikola Tesla insane, probably
