I didn`t know that until right now

Oh cool, thanks for letting me know! I’m so glad I get to come to this website and share interesting information with my international pals :)

No

thank you amigo

>Americans don't know that bunda means appetizer

It does not.
Appetizer is what we would call apéritif ou amuses-bouche

nah entree means big plate, a lot of food

Canadian blood is good enough for the blood God.

dumb quebecois think entree is same as aperitif. but in the us we also know about hors d'oeuvre, also an appetizer. do you use that term?

Any decent luncheon is composed as follow:
Mises en bouche
Potage
Hors-d’œuvres
Relevés
Entrées
Entremets verts
Mets
Salades et compotes
Entremets de douceurs
Boutehors et digestifs

Take your mets.

Yes, entrée and hors d'oeuvre both designate a small dish coming after the appetizer but before the main dish.

And pussy? When?

>Entremets de douceurs
or
>Entremets verts
depending on how old she is.

Nowadays it would be something like:
Apéritif
potage, soupe or consommé
hors-d'œuvre
premier plat (often fish)
second plat (often meat)
salade
plateau de fromages
entremets sucrés
Desserts
Café
Liqueurs

Here is what a proper lunch in the Netherlands looks like.

a twelve o'clock

Which are usually three slices of bread, of which at least one is with eggs ham and cheese and one with a beef ragout kroket with mustard. It must also have a salad (russian salad). Optional is the soup or cheese/ham sandwich.

All served on one plate.

this is a joke right?
no way french eat that much for a regular lunch?

We only eat a proper meal in the evening. Never at lunch. Lunch is always bread.

Grim...
Are you sure you live in the Netherlands and not the... Neanderthals?
Honhonhon

Well I guess that if you're in a hurry or poor, you can skip the relevés and the compotes
But that would be a shame, apple and strawberry compote on a foie gras toast with the salad is exquisite.
