ITT: Post a unique animal from your country and offer a fact or two about it.
I'll start with the Eastern Indigo Snake from the southeastern United States. It is the longest snake in North America. It eats anything that it can, which can include other snakes such as timber rattlesnakes. Instead of using venom or constricting other snakes, it uses sheer force to either bite its prey and bash it around or bodyslam into prey to stun it.
