About 38 years worth

>Americans measure economic growth in "Walmart sales"
>Americans measure length in "football fields"
>Americans measure height in "cheeseburgers tall"

Why did you get an idea to think of such money in terms of wealth of one person?

What about the russian sanctions? Gas prices are soaring right now

Lmao

Damn they are going heavily in with the 90 IQ diversity hires huh? I’m not a market analyst here but as far as I’m aware the sanctions on Russian energy and material economy, possible total war escalation would ripple through the markets. F.e. Russia sources a lot of the raw materials that semiconductors are made out of. Without semiconductors you couldn’t really run any tech.

I often wonder if americans realize how much of a joke everything around them is. They worry about innate shit like liberals, conservatives, religion, etc when their measurement of wealth is put into walmart sales.

It's a common shitty anecdote that's brought up on Twitter and Reddit. Anything related to wealth has someone clamoring to compare it to someone's income. I saw one a couple days ago that went something like " Chipotle burrito prices went up by a $1.50, but they can only afford to pay their employees $0.50 more per hour?! Where's everyone's pay raise?"
