Because we're the only ones that actually have your back. France is too proud and convinced it can become a great power again through some third-way powerbroking to be relied upon, Germany is tired and dreams of being a neutral party uninvolved with global politics, Canada and Australia aren't developed or strong enough to have a big impact in world affairs, Israel and the Saudis are regional powers who're only concerned with their region and how they can maneuvre you into helping them with their goals in it, the Japanese are too busy being afraid of becoming bloodthirsty again and/or China to be involved outside it etc. We're the only country that consistently on your side with enough clout for it to actually matter even for all the shit we get from Americans and everyone else about it.

They've traded part of their autonomy in foreign affairs in exchange for security, this is why their leaders always follow America in its campaigns in the third world. Cultural proximity makes it more palatable.
