Is living in Europe really better than the US/Canada despite the lower salaries and higher taxes?

If you invaded us and administered our country instead of ourselves we might be better off. Otherwise we will keep emigrating until this country fixes itself.

How UK and Germany are worse than America? What did you do there? And how did you come back to Somalia? Honestly, I like Spain a lot but the job market worries me. I could emigrate there but I don't want to end up laying bricks there.

Hello British Martinique. I should say Western Europe. Spain, France, Italy and Germany. Nordics seem nice to visit but not for a permanent stay.

I'd prefer to live in Europe but this is as someone who has a constant and relatively high income stream. Germany would probably be your best bet if you want money but since you're from Peru (assuming you're not rich) you won't be living the high life. Even Moscow/St Petersburg, Budapest or Sofia too I'd prefer. Just don't like American cities.

I'm not rich. Realistically I could emigrate to Canada, work and study a few years there, gain citizenship then move to the US and keep doing it. But in Spain I kinda can do the same and get citizenship after two years.

I want money, to save and spend in my future family and children and still have left enough for old age, but I don't want to live in a country where cars are king, and you can't walk down the street to buy something.

Now you then consider Europe is not really independent, not yet, it depends on the US for a lot of things, so in the end idk what to thing. But I do know I really prefer to walk than drive a lot.

I grew up un the UK, maybe I'm being bias but I disliked it a lot. I wouldn't recommend living there the people are rude in every area you live in. There is a lack of "soul" I don't know how to explain it. It's dark and gloomy.

As for Germany. I was literally robbed twice there, both in my airbnb. Germans also lack social awareness, it was much of what I saw in the UK with less annoying.

I would recommend working in a country like Norway for 8-10 yrs then moving to spain. You would most likely be able to retire with what you have left or build off of it by tenting out property. Spain is honesly a very laid back place it reminds of Somalia without all the negative stuff and first world experience

I'm going to learn German because I always liked the language and it's requiered on my career, maybe I can have a different experience to you. Do you have any job recommendations? Honestly, if I'm going to work in a country to make money and I can't go to the US, I might end up in Canada instead, and then go to Spain. Do you plan to retire there?
