Interesting. A common Australian one is that one of our Prime Ministers who mysteriously disappeared in office, Harold Holt, was abducted by a Chinese submarine while swimming at a beach in Victoria.

The idea that the world is controlled by lizardmen and that dynasties like the Royal Family and the Rothschilds are lizards in disguise. David Icke came up with it and there's a fair number of people in the UK who actually believe it.
