Why do the Taiwanese on this board hate South Korea? There’s a Taiawanese American poster as well as an actual Taiwanese poster who both always shit on Korea. But Koreans hate mainland Chinese and support independent Taiwan overwhelmingly.

Saying that a lot of Koreans are pro-China is just basically untrue. Given the existence of the KMT, Taiwan is probably more pro-China than Korea.

nah you're just not invested much to understand what it really is about. china has been planning to claim our ancient history that took place in present day northeast china (goguryeo and buyeo) for about 20 years or so. the reason behind it is because they want to claim the northern half of our peninsula in case north korea might collapse for whatever reason. they did it with tibetans, ughurs, and mongolians. the CCP's next geopolitical after the inevitable unification with taiwan, is obviously to annext us like japan did in 1910. today it is about kimchi or hanbok, tomorrow can be about our entire ethnic identity. and so on.

ethnic korean chinese citizens are highly against mainland korea's current system and always aligned with china's views because of years of indoctrination and the fact that they were the first north korean soldiers who invaded the south in 1950. the CCP manipulated the conflict between two koreas by the end of the war and took advantage of the ethnic koreans existing near their border as buffer agents. see how stalin wiped out tatars in crimea
