America just launched a new warship

USS Savannah - the USN's 14th Independence-class Littoral Combat Ship (LCS).

Say something nice about it.

looks retarded

It's named after my hometown, so that's neat.

looks fast

40+ knots, incredibly fast

Oh yeah that's pretty fast indeed

that's a fast ship

keep in mind we weigh a lot so in practice it'll be significantly slower

High sped shp

Can someone explain why boats always pump out water? Do they always take it in or what?
Did old pre industrial ships have to be manualy emptied all the time with buckets and stuff?
Or is the water exhausts there for an entirely different reason?

It's to keep the bilge free of water that accumulates over time.

trimaran hulls look cool but what do they do?

Thank you!

need it or keep it?

god damn can you millitary hardware fags just go to /k/ please

designed by austral
