I heard Evergrande ended up falling into big time debt for some reason. China has to figure out how to get them back up and running.

>has to figure out
Luckily for them, they are allowed to do whatever they want with failing corporations and cut losses if needed. Too bad we are stuck with ours

For me its the Tianducheng (sky city) with its magnificent Eiffel tower replica

like anthills

Please tell me that's fake. China knows better than to show that shot.

>30 trillion debt.
>Printing money like there's no tomorrow
>Responsible for the last major economic breakdown and property debt crisis
And yet here you are shitting on china. Fuck of fatty this is the Chinese century and they are handling it 10x better than the shit you did since ww2

Im not shitting on china. I just said Evergrande, the company, fell into debt. Now China needs to figure out how to get it back on its feet. All facts.

No idea why you are seething over fiat currency like a libertarian or the 2008 crisis (which the US handled much better than EU in terms of getting back on our feet)

It's true. That area used to be a big iron/steel plant until 2011, when they shut down the campus and moved the production farther from central Beijing. Now it is a industry-themed park. They just want to show their determination in cutting the emission.

China already figured it out.

Based

I've always been amazed by these kind of massive chinese developments. I wouldn't ever live in one but still there's something in them which amazes me. They remind me of that city from Inception.

That's in Turkey, FYI

Sorry Im not up to date on my Chinese real estate news, I just repeated what I remember hearing, that Evergrande got into big debt somehow. Still doesn't count as "shitting on China".

This is the worst one ITT. At least the commie blocks have some kind of order

Cool

I wonder where are those blocks supposed to go. I mean, you couldn't even build a single storey with that shit so those buildings behind must be built with actual concrete, but still wtf.

They nationalized the company and forced private enterprises to use their money to bail it and buy out the state's share. Pretty based ngl.

Considering all those buildings collapsed, are you surprised?

U N C O M M O N

No idea how shares work but I do think any business "too big to fail" should just be nationalized.

woah

He stepped on the mine or something? What happened on this gif?

Typical ponzi scheme in China

All of those units were already sold, but not many buyers actually live there as those units are just for investment.
At the peak they were sold around 360,000 usd each. Now the price drop to only 94,000 usd.
