yes but Thus Spoke is unironically a schizo manifesto and it's not worth reading for anybody other than the top of the line /lit/autist

>schizo manifesto
sounds kino will check it out
love the strauss piece about it

Never read any of his stuff but from what I've heard he sohnds like a virgin freak

I like René Girard but he always sounded to me like someone working from a conclusion everytime he approached christianity

No he's a dumb retard cuck dummy. I have no respect or him. Read a real philosopher, like Lars Bergström.

Is that the guy with the mommy fetish?

>I'm not German, I'm Polish and my ancestors were Polish nobility
What did he mean by this?

That yoesn't have to be a bad thing
I only read this essay from him but I really like it, just btfo's Nietzsches worldview in 20 pages
I should read more of him

Filtered. But Thus Spoke Zarathustra was specifically written by Nietzsche in the style of the Bible. So if you consider THZ schizophrenic then you also must view the Bible the same way.
The Antichrist is his best book in my opinion and it is more focused and Nietzsche isn't all over the place like in his other books.

Yes. His books are filled with interesting individualistic sentiments. Great for introverts and black sheep that don't mind being that way.

He is Cosmologist?

I know he was polish. Although he didn't speak polish

nice quads
also
he was ashamed to belong to the german urban class

give me a quick rundown on him and i will tell you my thoughts

I don't quite agree with him. Also implying Nietzsche was driven "insane" by his own writings and its implications is dishonest. His father and brother suffered from brain damage without any cause, so it seems he just had a genetical predisposition.

>Became one of the youngest professors in history, when it was extremely hard to become one in general.
>Suffered a lot health problems throughout his life, was in constant pain and was bedridden at times, still worked 12 hours a day writing books.
>At one point renounced his citizenship and lived a life as a stateless person for the rest of his life.
>Hated Germany and Germans so much he said he was Polish and that the best parts of Germany are because of Polish blood.
>Hated Christianity and called it a nihilistic religion.
>Liked Jesus and claimed that Jesus was the only Christian ever.
>Said that the apostles and the church corrupted Jesus teachings, and that they made up all the resurrection and supernatural stuff. Jesus was just a loving free spirited person and all the stuff of him whipping merchants at the temple and other out of character stories were made up by the apostles because they were resentful cunts.
>Hated anti-semites, nationalists and socialists.
>Was pro-European and for a united Europe.
>Said it doesn't matter who wins in the struggle between socialism and capitalism because they both promote the same plebian ideals and people will suffer either way.
>When in Rome asked around if there was an anti-christian hotel to stay in.
>Said that his books were for the people who have yet to be born.

I like his life affirmation and death drive.

>So if you consider THZ schizophrenic then you also must view the Bible the same way
Well it is.

>So if you consider THZ schizophrenic then you also must view the Bible the same way.
wow! I see absolutely no reason whatsoever why anyone would ever think that!
