japan is cool but just like any other nation it has numerous problems, which weeaboo types often ignore (because 'muh anime').
take for example the rampant consumerism (despite pretending to like japan, western otakus adore the materialism that is destroying it), the growth of which was greatly accelerated by american occupation. mishima warned japan of western influence, and i wish his message has gotten through. the 1947 constitution was literally written by us diplomats, and has not undergone a single change since. it incapacitates the nation by preventing japan from fighting any war ever (neutering the country under the guise of ensuring 'peace'), and the emperor's renunciation of imperial divinity did nothing but serve as demoralisation. why is japan still under the regulation of a constitution written by foreigners?
