i thought all the tenements were torn down in the 50s?

ok and what's the point of the this thread? going to bars every night is degenerate and nobody gives a shit about art

This 'studio flat' in London is £1,075pcm, $1455.

Just get out of the city, you fucking rats.

those are working cities
it's not that bad here

city faggots should be genocided

he literally says "becoming culturally enriched"
that'll happen all right

You can't go to a museum or art gallery more than a fee times. Restaurants also get boring after a while as the novelty wears off

all that stuff about shows and theatres, how often do normal people go to that stuff? I don't want to look at a bunch of homos prancing around a stage dressed as cats.

If cities were still economically viable places to live, they'd be kino as fuck. I was born and raised in suburbia, but I also spent a few years living in Chicago, and I can definitely see the appeal. Especially as an American suburbanite, it was very interesting to see restaurants open 24/7 that weren't just shitty fast food, the ability to go wherever you wanted using public transportation, and the feel of belonging to a community of many millions. Since moving back to the suburbs, I'm very isolated, I drive everywhere, and I've settled into a routine that borders on a rut. Not saying that's bad; hell it's how I've spent virtually my entire life, and there were many aspects of city living which I found intolerable, but I can see how some people would prefer life to be like that.

Most big art galleries/museums tend to have exhibitions or things, so I can understand why certain people might go regularly. Still, I don't get the problem of an hour's travel into the city each month if it makes the rest of your life so much more comfortable.
As for restaurants and the other things I suppose that's more to do with shitty American urban layouts than anything else.

I lived in NYC for three years for work, as it or LA were essentially the only options for the industry I was in at the time. I still don't think it was worth it. Great if you're a millionaire or inherited property in Westchester or Staten/Long Island though.

restaurants are pretty shit to begin with
You pay like $30 + tip for one meal
You'll get shunned if you do this alone
You got some waiter bringing you the plates and wanting to be tipped for it when you could just get them yourself
I'd rather cook something nice in my own home

Go back home, Private Rodriguez

This thread is about American cities

>try to see a movie (no way home) by myself
>buy my ticket, cashier keeps saying 'only one ticket?' even though its only me there
>finally get my ticket, find a seat and wait for previews to start
>excuse me sir. SIR, excuse me!
>cashier and manager standing in the aisle looking at me
>manager tells me to follow him back to the front of the theater
>they give me a refund for my ticket
>tell me i can leave voluntarily or have security escort me out
>tears streaming down my face as onlookers just stare at me like im some kind of retard
>run out and almost trip at the door since my facemask started fogging up my glasses really badly
i hate it here so much

do they really

>buy two tickets
>problem solved

Millennials are a joke.

WTF why?

why do chuds hate cities?
it's literally the only place worth living unless you're a billionaire that can create your own paradise in the countryside

Americans think people who don't have fwiends are potential extremists

Who the hell needs all this "organic" or "halal" bullshit restaurants. Just fucking eat what tastes good lmao. And their are bars basically everywhere in every town in any western country and everyone has the fucking internet where you can view art 24/7. I swear these fucking retards probably only live in this actual cuckdom to be able to say they live in a big city and even then nobody gives a shit.

>try to see a movie with my friends
>We're all around 26 and the movie is 16+
>Everyone else gets their tickets
>When it's my turn, get asked for my ID
>wtf why?
>"To make sure you're 16 yet"
>stare at her like pic related for a few seconds
>she stares back
>she doesn't say sike
>are you fucking kidding me
>hand her my ID and get my ticket
>friends immediately burst into laughter after we leave the ticket area

DUDE i just LOVE the hustle and bustle of the big city

Lol don't you have any friends?

>The_RagingHomosexual

is there anything to do in cities that doesnt have to do with consooming

they're though

You were lucky they didn't put you in the popcorn mines

That's actually not too bad, I've seen worse properties cost more.

Don't even talk about those, my grandpa died in one of them after a butter explosion. It was a closed casket funeral

The way he talks is pretentious but he is right in the fact that living on the countryside fucking sucks.

>>Just get out of the city, you fucking rats.
Going from the countryside to the city is easy. Going from the city to the countryside is virtually impossible.
