they just added security to his existing house. there is an official prime minister's residence but bennet didnt move in there for some reason idk.
pic related is the presidents house, its also in a regular residential neighborhood and isnt bigger than the surrounding houses (this is by the request of the president that built it). his neighbors are regular people and he event went to some apartment students are sharing a cross the street during purim to give them food\sweets which is customary.

The Royal Palace, no longer used by the Royal Family. Last King to live in there was Alfonso XIII, and afaik some president of the 2nd Republic also used it as a residence.
