No, the show is about Japanese apologism. The Eldians (island people) conquered the mainland Marley people (Chinese/Koreans). Now they marley people are oppressing the poor eldians because of shit their ancestors did and forcing them to apologize just like how the evil Koreans are doing to modern Japanese. Eldians are compared to Jews to make them more sympathetic but they’re really just a stand in for the Japanese themselves
