It's a mig 21 analogue and does a better job than both mirage 2000 and mig 21. I don't know why people think Tejas is a failure. It's nowhere near western 4.5 gen in capability but it beats a lot of present day 4th gen fighters on paper.

This is Rafale's succesor. The French will atleast take 2040 before entering service since they will screw the Germans and the Spanish which will result in them again doing this project alone. The Rafale will be a mainstay for atleast 2070 for the french
