it is a very good looking movie with beautiful soundtrack but it is unoriginal and if you watched a single horror movie where a plot goes like "retard americans venture to bad place and get owned by locals" you've seen that too
it's meant to be deep and about family and being an outcast and all that but it really is a movie where a bunch of american retards get killed. some indians get killed too which is a good thing but no that is a worse movie that hereditary

it's pretty good for a horror movie, I thought it was all very involving, waiting for them to snap as they are slowly going insane with the little hints at the cult that are very obvious (but you have no idea what they mean because they only get meaning in the end) was interesting.
midsomar was a beautiful movie but I found it far too predictable and a little "overdone" like this poster wrote
