Because the world economy was built around the US+Europe+Southeast Asia, and Latin America serves no geopolitical purpose against other powers like Russia or China and is firmly on US sphere, hence there is no need for it to be fully wealthy in this world geopolitical reality

Everytiem an efficient government started to appear usa got spooked and tried to ruin it, over the long term it worked

Brown people are stupid and can't build civilizations like the white man can.

Not white

huge blackpill
the game was rigged from the start and it could be even worse

theyre simply inferior

Spanish-Italian genes

Because UK gained world domination to Spain.

>like us
you are not new world. You're just an Englishman who moved to live on an island. you are not new

Low IQ. Thankfully their birth rates are going down

By 2050 most of Latin America will be whiter than most of Europe

can anyone pls explain where is the fun in repeating the same posts over and over again?

unpopular answer but it has to do with colonial economies
anglo colonies were largely trading partners, even if very onesided
iberian colonies were just respurce exploitation colonies, which failed to adapt or translate into the industrial/postindustrial world

This
Meds are still living in the iron age. They weren't made for modernity.

I laughed

unironically this
even the french failed to establish proper colonies in the new world because of anglos

Unironically because the Spanish crown made the colonies completely retarded, and internally divided as well as dependant on Iberia with both the caste system and trade. Essentially, the Spanish only sent over relatively few people to lord over the indigenous ones, and they then only produced raw natural resources that were then only transported to Spain. So when the colonies got independance they were all completely fucked, and had no idea how to do trade with anyone beside the motherland. This Dependance on often only a single natural Ressource often had the side effect that the price of that commodity could be directly related to the standard of living. Around WW1 the Argentines were incredibly wealthy due to selling food to freshly industrialized Europe. When Europe could feed itself again, Argentina fell into mediocrity. Same goes for Venezuela and oil more recently. The caste system also helped establish a system of inequality, low social mobility, and that the upper classes could just do anything they wanted, including steal what little prosperity the commoners had, while also ruling over them in a pseudo feudal system that sometimes lasted until the 20th century, so no immigrant wanted to come there. Also from the Spanish colonial days, the crown in Iberia normalized there being enormous amounts of red tape, hindering any new business even until today.

Tldr: the Spanish were just comically evil and shitty as colonizers and set the new world ears up for failure the moment they became independant

Also catholicism doesn't see the accumulation of wealth with good eyes (for the church yes but not for its followers).

Colonial economies don't take in account how the modern world economy works. Isolated places like Australia and even non-Western countries like Korea and Japan are rich and got an extensive industry nowadays despite their past, because they have an utility for the USA-led world economy, the same for Western Europe and other nations in the USA-sphere.

Latin America on the other hand is under USA sphere but it wasn't shaped by the US economy model, as it wasn't occupied nor had its elites replaced by a US friendly ones, the only exception being Chile, which got its whole supply of Lithium and Copper controlled by American and Canadian multinationals, hence the USA uses Chile as a model of a democratic latin american country and tries to export its model, without success, towards other LatAm countries.

Latin American elites, different from American ones, rely on traditional powers like the army, farmers and politics to maintain their power while keeping the financial and entrepreneur sectors in check to maintain their influence on the country.

For Latin America to be as prosperous as the other countries under its sphere, it has to basically demote its elites and submit itself to the financial power of Wall Street, creating a submissive and friendly elite to their regime and thus destroy any hint of economic neutrality or geopolitical ambition the continent has.

A true mystery user

You know countries have gone pro china and russia. Cuba, venzuela. And when countries go socialist they crash on their own which you can see now. So they use to coup them. And we stopped, now look.

When we say our way works better, americans aren't just referring to themselves. We are referring to partners not puppets. We cant solve your problems or protect you from the worlds crooked businessmen. No one can. We just give a choice. The only way to a better world is our way.

But we're a country filled with brown people too.
