The true first world filter

>he drinks coffee made from a coffee machine
If your parents spent anything more than 400 euros on a coffee machine, instead of making your own coffee using one of those turkish or italian thingies, you are the true first world snob.

It's also the most soulless way to get coffee.

I drink tea only

I drink tea only

I use a coffee pot or just boil the water directly

I just order it from somewhere, getting a machine might be nice

In Norway most people use this style of coffee maker.

Image related is probably the most popular brand.

It doesnt really look that pricey. But at least you don't drink instant coffee, r-right user?

My drip coffee thing cost 30€ and my french press 5€

Fuck that shitty drip lock plastic thingy, the flimsy thing can get loose, it drops to off position without you noticing and the coffee filter part fills over and there's coffee everywhere. Not acceptable on a "premium" product

>his coffee making instrument contains plastic or rubber parts that can get loose of flimsy
ngmi, picrel is all you need for a delicious coffee

I cant imagine the end results is all that diffrent, aside from the quality feeling of the machine itself.

The ones made recently is supposed to be either connected to an external timer or have a timer built in to meet fire safety regulations.

my family has that I'm I never drink from it because I'm paranoid of heated plastic

And yet you wear a mask the whole day, don't you?

>making tea with samovar and kettle
>making coffee with Italian and Turkish things
Ahhh...what a blessing.

What does my parents coffee machine habits have to do with me?
The one I use cost me €45. Pic related. Same as 99% of Nordic people use.
